Every list of app directories is copied from another list. We submitted to
43 of them between August and September 2026 and then did the part the lists skip:
opened a live listing on each site and read the rel on the outbound link.

How to check one yourself, in four minutes
- Open a live listing on the directory, not its homepage. A site can pass equity from its front page and nofollow every listing, and that is the most common shape.
- View source and find the anchor to the listed product's own domain. If it carries
nofollow,sponsoredorugc, the listing is worth traffic and nothing else. - Open two different listings and compare their outbound links. If both pages carry an identical set, those links belong to the site's chrome and no listing links out at all.
- Read the free tier's queue, not just its price. "Free dofollow" can mean a 210-day wait with your badge required on day one.
