About Shotlingo

Shotlingo is an AI-native App Store screenshot localization platform, built for indie developers who ship to global markets.

Our mission

Localizing App Store screenshots used to mean designing each screen by hand for every language, then fighting layout breaks when German runs 30% longer than English and Japanese needs different fonts. We built Shotlingo to compress that workflow from days to minutes.

Our goal is simple: every indie developer should be able to ship a properly localized App Store listing in 40+ languages without a designer, a translation agency, or a localization manager.

What we believe

  • Localization is the highest-leverage ASO move most indie devs skip.
  • Direct translation without typographic adjustment looks amateurish to native users.
  • Tools should match the way solo founders actually work: fast, opinionated, and free at the edges.
  • Honest comparisons build more trust than marketing language.

The Shotlingo team

We are a small product team working on App Store screenshot localization, and we have been shipping Shotlingo since April 2026. Support, the guides on this site and the product itself all come from the same team, so an answer about a broken export is never more than one handover away from the people who wrote the exporter.

The stack is React, TypeScript, Astro and Cloudflare Workers. We publish what we learn about ASO, screenshot design and what actually moves the conversion needle on the App Store, and our roadmap reads the same database the work is tracked in, so it moves when the work moves.
