- We read every submission, and we run only a few. A list that takes everything is worth nothing to the apps on it.
- We look at the screenshots first. That is the thing we know well enough to be useful about, and it is what the feature is built around.
- The teardown is honest. If we would change something, we say so. A page full of praise convinces nobody.
- A small app is not a disadvantage. Download counts are not how we choose. Plenty of well-made apps have almost none yet.
