Uploading to App Store Connect

Get your localized Shotlingo screenshots into App Store Connect, manually or with direct upload.

Once your screenshots are exported you can upload them by hand, or send them straight from Shotlingo if your plan includes direct App Store Connect upload.

Manual upload

  1. 1 Export your project as a ZIP and unpack it.
  2. 2 In App Store Connect, open your app and select the version you are preparing.
  3. 3 Switch to the locale you want using the language selector at the top of the page.
  4. 4 Drag that locale folder contents into the screenshot area, in order.
  5. 5 Repeat per locale, then save.

Direct upload from Shotlingo

Direct upload sends the rendered files to App Store Connect for you, which removes the per-locale drag and drop entirely. It is available on the Plus and Studio plans. You connect your App Store Connect API key once, then choose the app and version at export time.

Common rejection causes

  • Wrong pixel dimensions for the device family.
  • A screenshot that shows a device frame Apple considers misleading for that device class.
  • Placeholder or lorem ipsum content left in the capture.
  • Pricing or promotional claims that do not match the app.

Google Play Console works the same way. Export once and upload the same set to both stores, minding each store dimension requirements.
