How auto-translation works
Shotlingo translates screenshot copy with a context-aware AI model tuned for marketing text.
Screenshot headlines are marketing copy, not documentation. A word-for-word translation of "Track every rep" produces something stiff and literal in most languages. Shotlingo passes the surrounding context to the model so the output reads like copy a native speaker would write.
Run a translation
- 1 Add your target languages in the Languages tab.
- 2 Select Translate to fill every empty slot across every page.
- 3 Switch language on the canvas to review the result in place.
- 4 Edit anything that does not fit or does not sound right.
What the model sees
- The text block itself.
- The other copy on the same page, so a headline and its subtitle stay consistent.
- The target locale, so regional variants such as Brazilian and European Portuguese are handled separately.
Translation memory
Approved translations are stored so the same phrase translates the same way next time, both across pages in one project and across projects in your account. That keeps your product vocabulary stable instead of drifting between runs.
Always review machine output before you publish. It is a strong first draft, not a replacement for a native speaker on copy that matters.
