Deleting your account

How to permanently delete your Shotlingo account and what happens to your data.

You can have your account and all associated personal data deleted at any time.

Request deletion

1 Cancel any active subscription first, so you are not charged again while the request is processed.
2 Email hello@shotlingo.com from the address on the account and ask for deletion.
3 We confirm the request by reply.
4 Your personal data is deleted within 30 days, as set out in the privacy policy.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in credentials.
Your projects, uploaded images, and translations.
Your translation memory entries.

What we have to keep

Billing records are retained where tax and accounting law requires it. These are held by Paddle as merchant of record and are not used to identify you as a Shotlingo user afterwards.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Export anything you want to keep before you ask for it.
