Meditation App Screenshot Templates
Mindfulness listings compete on how they feel at a glance, which is the one thing most screenshot advice gets backwards. Every other category rewards density; this one punishes it. The listing is making a promise about lowering someone's heart rate, and a busy frame contradicts that promise before a single word is read.

What the first screenshot has to do
One sentence and a lot of space. The strongest opener in this category names the state the person wants (sleep, focus, a break) rather than the feature that delivers it. Session lists, timers and streak counters all belong further in.
What gets meditation & mindfulness listings rejected or ignored
- Streak counters and progress rings in the lead frame, which import the pressure the product claims to remove.
- Medical or clinical framing such as "treats anxiety" or "reduces depression", which moves the listing into territory App Review reads as a health claim.
- Dark mode artwork only. Sleep content is dark, but the store grid shows five thumbnails at once and an all-dark set disappears next to its neighbours.
- Stock imagery of someone meditating on a clifftop, which is the single most reused visual in the category and reads as a template even when it is not.
Localising these screenshots
The vocabulary of calm is unusually idiomatic. "Mindfulness" has no clean equivalent in several languages and is often left in English, while "breathwork" and "grounding" translate into clinical-sounding terms that undercut the tone. Prefer plain verbs (breathe, rest, sleep) which localise without changing register.
Every template here exports at 1290×2796 for App Store Connect and translates into 40+ languages in one pass. If you are unsure which locales your listing actually needs, the App Store locale code reference lists every one Apple supports, and the text expansion calculator shows how far each language will stretch your headline before you commit to a layout.
